Woman arrested at Hayward Blues Festival – Santa Rita Bail Bonds

During the Hayward Russell City Blues Festival a performer was attacked after announcing a song dedication to Trayvon Martin and the attacker was booked into Santa Rita Jail on felony assault charges.
Trayvon Martin was a 17-year-old who was shot and killed two years ago by neighborhood watch group in Florida.
The attacker Dinalynn Andrews- Potter, 44, leapt to the stage moments after the performer proclaimed the dedication. Once on the stage she immediately began throwing punches and shouting racial slurs. The 73-year-old singer Lester Chambers suffered multiple cuts and bruises to his hands, face, and ribs.
Andrews-Potter recently plead no contest to physical elder abuse instead of the original felony assault charges she was facing with the agreement that she would be placed into a residential treatment facility for substance abuse and overall mental health.
