Upcomming Anti-Gun Legislation

Four new anti-gun laws are scheduled for hearings in the near future. These new laws will increase already proposed regulations and will ban the sale of multiple currently legal firearms. Under bill 374 commonly used hunting rifles will no longer be sold; re-classified as “assault rifles” and force lawfully attained firearms of this type to be registered. Bills such as 683 will increase California’s handgun safety certificate requirement and would prohibit the sale or transferring of any firearm without said certificate. Other proposed bills call for increased regulation on detachable magazine sizes.
