Pastor Arrested in Arson Case
Posted on: 01/30/2014
Vacaville pastor Mark Lewis was recently arrested on suspicion of plotting to firebomb his ex-girlfriend’s home. Sarah Nottingham had been receiving multiple threats from Lewis following their break up in late December. The situation took a new violent turn when earlier this month a Molotov cocktail was thrown through a window of Nottingham’s home. Nottingham had been trying to end the relationship for weeks and had already made a report to the police after she woke up to a shattered car windshield. The incidents were followed by phone calls and texts from unknown numbers from people that Sarah believed to be working with Lewis. The Police arrested Lewis and Three others in connection with the bombing.
Lewis did not attend the hearing, but Nottingham was granted a three year restraining order against him. He remains out on $500,000 bail and is expected to be seen in court by the end of the month.
