Hit and run in Dublin – Dublin Bail Bonds
Posted on: 06/23/2014
On June 15th California Highway Patrol received notice of a hit and run at their Dublin office. Thuy Thi Thu Nguyen, 25, was stuck by an onramp to I-580 west around Grant Line Road. According to an eyewitness report a dark-colored sedan traveling at 65 to 80mph slammed into Nguyen’s pickup truck and sent him swerving across multiple lanes of traffic. Once the pickup reached the edge of the freeway Nguyen hit a sign and then continued to roll several times down the embankment.
Highway Patrol officials believe that the driver knew that he had struck another vehicle and are continuing to search for the identity of anyone involved. Nguyen suffered major head injuries even though he was wearing his seatbelt.
Hit and run cases can result in jail time especially if the victim is injured in the crash. Anyone facing possible charges or incarceration may contact Dublin Bail Bonds for information on how to post bail.
