On Sunday April 13th a woman was arrested for attacking and repeatedly stabbing a Jack in the Box employee. According to the police the victim and the attacker did not know each other.
The assailant who was later identified as Jazmine Vasquez reportedly walked into the fast food restaurant alone at around 4 a.m. Detectives reviewed the surveillance tape and said that Vasquez approached the male employee, reached into her purse and began stabbing him in the back and neck. Immediately following the stabbing one of the other employees pressed the panic button, and Vasquez fled the scene.
Police were soon able to track her down at a Dublin home where she was arrested without incident. She was booked into Santa Rita Jail on suspicion of attempted murder and is awaiting trial later this week. Dublin Bail Bonds can provide information to anyone seeking bail in the Alameda County area.
