Last September a Pleasanton resident went outside of his home to confront a group of people who were causing a noise disturbance shortly after midnight. The resident David Lamont ended up in a violent
confrontation outside his home with four people.
Once police arrived to his home they found Lamont in the street with a head injury. He was rushed to hospital where he had to undergo several surgeries to relieve the swelling to his brain.
Soon after four teenage suspects were found, but no arrests were made. After an investigation the Alameda County District Attorney’s Office determined that there was a lack of evidence and declined to file any charges.
