With the mass shootings that have happened lately law makers are looking more closely at gun laws. There were many gun laws passed through the state assembly last month that might have a big impact on gun owners across California. One law would make it that when buying ammunition you would have to submit personal information along with a $50 fee for a background check. So your background is checked against criminal records, mental illness and restraining orders that would disqualify them from owning firearms. Another law would require the Department of Justice to notify local authorities when someone purchase over 3,000 rounds of ammunition
