Burglary and Car Chase in Fremont

Fremont Police recently responded to a call from a Target clerk that witnessed multiple people loading televisions from a fire exit into a U-Haul van.
Once police arrived they followed the vehicle to a Kaiser parking lot where one of the suspects exited the van. The female suspect that left the car was immediately apprehended and the van fled north on the freeway.
During the police chase the driver collided with multiple cars before the pursuit ended. The driver was then taken into custody and the televisions were recovered. Authorities also reported that the U-Haul van was stolen prior to the incident.
The male suspect is facing charges of evading the police, resisting arrest, hit-and-run, and commercial burglary. The female suspect is also being charged with conspiracy and commercial burglary.
