Man Faces 12 Years in Jail after Robbing Lottery Winner

Jakari Amani Bolden, 25 of Oakland recently plead guilty to charges of robbery and the use of a firearm while committing a felony. Bolden was a primary suspect in a case regarding the robbery of a Pleasanton home in late August.
Police responded to a 911 call on August 26th where a woman claimed that four men confronted her as she approached the door to her home. She stated that the four men were armed and forced their way inside and began to search the residence. The men confronted her husband and stole a large bag of money that he has one at Casino 580 the night before.
The California Justice Bureau of Gambling was able to track two of the suspects back to the casino where they had witnessed the victim win the money. They then contacted two others to and formed a plan to follow the victim to his home and rob him.
After the suspects were taken into custody they were held at Santa Rita Jail in Dublin. The three other suspects were convicted last month, and Bolden plead guilty on December 3rd.
